Sgt Slaughter -Live!

Sgt Slaughter, one of the most recognized figures in professional wrestling today, both in and out of the squared circle, began his professional wrestling career in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since his debut in 1975, the 6' 6" 320 pound former military drill instructor has held every major title in the competitive world of professional wrestling.

Hasbro thought that the charismatic traits of Sgt Slaughter would make a great addition to the G.I. Joe mythos so they made this “Real American Hero” into a G.I. Joe action figure.  He was the first real person to be immortalized as a G.I. Joe action figure.

Today, despite his wrestling PR schedule, tours and hundreds of thousands of miles traveled annually, Sgt Slaughter devotes much of his spare time helping to raise funds for organizations, such as  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Join him this weekend for an insight into his G.I. Joe and wrestling careers!
