A Plumm Summer is an endearing, family-friendly film that tells the triumphant story of two brothers, Elliott and Rocky Plumm, and their new friend Haley who embark on an adventure to find out whom frog-napped the famous TV marionette Froggy Doo.  But the journey is never what we expect, and by the end of the road, everyone has learned a lot more than just who took Froggy Doo.

A Plumm Summer is based on a true story of a local (Billings, Montana circa 1963) favorite children’s TV show star Froggy Doo (a marionette) is stolen and the investigation the local children embark on to find this favorite friend.  This heart-warming story features Henry Winkler as the marionette’s creator and adult host of the TV show.  From my 6 and 9 year olds…a total thumbs up!  You will laugh, you’ll cheer and you might even cry as this courageous group of kids out wits the bumbling FBI agents in unraveling the mystery.  Who took Froggy Doo?  Was it the competing TV station? Was it a jealous competitor?  Was it kids perpetrating a hoax?  You will just have to see for yourself.  The entire family enjoyed this film, as family values and brotherly love are a major theme of this look back into a simpler time.  It’s in the stores now so get your copy while you can!

As a bonus, here is a special Froggy Doo...Coloring page to print out for the kids. Also, for the real story - check out the Froggydoo.com website.
