JFK Figure
Although we are not allowed to show you a photo at this time, the prototype of the JFK PT-109 figure was on display in the showroom. All I can tell you is that the Hasbro artists have outdone themselves with this figure. The headsculpt is wonderful and captures the youthful JFK we are all familiar with from his PT-109 days.
The prototype was dressed in a uniform similar to the Hasbro Classic Collection PT Boat Commander outfit. Keep in mind this was just a prototype we were viewing. One important accessory he had was a piece of a coconut shell that he carved a message in. This eventually led to his rescue. The figure is scheduled for September release. Hasbro is also planning release of other Kennedy related collectibles with the cooperation of the Kennedy Library Foundation. One of these may be another JFK figure in Navy dress whites. Hasbro has offered to donate significant royalties to the Kennedy Library Foundation.
