TOP SECRET ORDERS ACCESSORY CARDS (Approximate Retail Price Each: $4.99, pictures not available)
Sites on Baghdad-Since the 1960s, Special Forces teams of the United States military have played a vital role in the success of numerous clandestine and combat support operations. In no small way, the perilous missions carried out by American Special Forces units during the Persian Gulf War, in 1991, helped pave the way for victory in that Middle East conflict. For instance, the Army's 5th Special Forces Group, a unit with over 50 "A-Teams" and many Arabic-speaking personnel, supported the Kuwaiti resistance, the Kurdish resistance, and the non-Kurdish Iraqi resistance. Utilizing sophisticated intelligence gathering systems and expert strategic planning, the 5th SFG fulfilled its assigned objectives, leading to the liberation of Kuwait and the destruction of Iraqi forces in that theatre of operations. Set includes: CTC-100 Transmitter, CTC-100 Transmitter tripod, PC/AT laptop work station, LCD screen, MPS clip leg pouch, 5P5 Room Broom gun, 5P5 RBG gun, 5P5 RBG silencer, (2) 5P5 RBG ammo clips, Map, Mission order with envelope.
Pressure Under Fire-For all those who have served in battle, the phrase "duty, honor, country" are sacred words which they lived by every day. Then, there are those whose actions exemplify those words and go beyond. These individuals exhibited a level of self-sacrifice and bravery that could only be described as "great!" American military history is full of examples of average men performing stellar feats of uncommon valor that were nothing less than heroic. Whether it was manning a machine gun to defend a position against an overwhelming enemy force, or saving one's comrades under heavy enemy fire, the gallantry and courage displayed by these men helped saved lives and win wars. For their selflessness in combat, they have been awarded such decorations as the Medal of Honor, the Distinguished Service Cross, and the Silver Star, and will forever possess the respect and gratitude of the United States. Set includes: .30 Caliber M37 machine gun, M37 ammo box, M37 machine gun tripod, M37 ammo belt, Multi-purpose bag, MK-11A1 Fragmentation grenade pouch, Field knife, Sheath, Map, Mission order with envelope.
Battle of Tarawa-"Bloody Tarawa!" From November 20-23, 1943, over 18,000 American marines and sailors fought a horrific engagement against about 5,000 heavily defended Japanese troops for control of this tiny atoll in the Central Pacific. The capture of Tarawa was pivotal in gaining an American foothold in the Central Pacific, from which the Allies could assault Japan. In one of the most ferocious battles of World War II, U.S. Marines overcame three days of desperate, hard-fought attacks by Japanese troops to take the island, but at a cost. Over 1000 Americans were dead and over 2100 wounded, but their sacrifices weren't in vain. The heroic actions by the marines and sailors helped shorten the Pacific war and propel the United States to victory in World War II. Set includes: Authentic Tarawa battle map, Actual replica mission orders, Envelope, Helmet, Ammo belt, .30 Caliber M 1917 A1 machine gun with tripod.
Saving Khe Sanh- "Semper Fi," the U.S. Marine Corps motto, rang loud and clear when the Marine detachment at Khe Sanh, South Vietnam weathered 77 days of siege by North Vietnamese Army (NVA) units from January to April 1968. Pummeled by NVA artillery, rocket and sniper fire from the surrounding hills, the Marines displayed a level of uncommon valor and bravery as they held their ground and counter-attacked with their own howitzers and mortars. Supported by air cover from USAF fighters and B-52 bombers, and heroic re-supply sorties by C-130 transports and army chopper pilots, the Marines withstood the communist onslaught and stopped the NVA from taking the base. When it was over, the Stars and Stripes still waved proudly over Khe Sanh. Set includes: Authentic Khe Sanh battle map, Actual replica mission orders, Envelope, Helmet with netting and camouflage shrubs, PRC 25 Radio with ACE 23 handset, 3 Grenades, Binoculars, M-16 A1 Rifle, Mosquito repellent.
Invasion of Inchon-In August 1950, North Korea's army had the ill-prepared and ill-equipped United Nations and Republic of Korea (ROK) forces with their backs against the sea at Pusan, South Korea. To shift the war in favor of the UN, United Nations Commander, General Douglas MacArthur, proposed a desperate, yet daring, behind-the-lines amphibious assault on the port of Inchon, near the South Korean capital of Seoul. In September 1950, while dealing with some of the worst geographical obstacles in the world, UN air, naval and land forces orchestrated a precisely-timed, successful invasion of Inchon, much to the surprise of the North Koreans. As a result, UN and ROK troops recaptured Seoul, while the besieged forces at Pusan broke out of the "Perimeter" to drive the North Koreans into retreat. MacArthur's gamble at Inchon paid off, and became one of the greatest counter-attacks of all-time! Set includes: Authentic Inchon battle map, Actual mission orders, Envelope, Flight helmet, Tri-fold cap, Flight goggles, Sunglasses, Clipboard.
Freedom in Kuwait-It was a scene reminiscent of World War II when America and its allies fought to liberate the world from tyranny. In August 1990, Iraq invaded and conquered its neighbor Kuwait. Appalled by Iraq's blatant act of aggression, United States President George Bush exclaimed, "This cannot stand!" Within a short time, the U.S. assembled a coalition force of 29 nations and from August 1990 to January 1991, it amassed the largest combined military force since World War II. By mid-January 1991, with Iraqi forces still entrenched in Kuwait, President Bush ordered the coalition's commander-in-chief, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, to initiate offensive actions against Iraq. On February 24th, the land campaign began and two days later, coalition forces had Kuwait City surrounded. Fearing the worst, Iraq's occupation forces attempted to escape from the city but were annihilated by allied air strikes. On February 27th, the victorious coalition forces entered the city and were welcomed by throngs of celebrating Kuwaitis. The war was over and Kuwait was free once more. Set includes: Authentic Kuwait City battle map, Actual replica mission orders, Envelope, Helmet with microphone, Binoculars, AN-PCR-90 hand-held radio, Goggles and strap. |
