U.S. Army Helicopter Pilot
Although women are not assigned to combat duties, the U.S. Army Helicopter Pilot's mission can put her into the heat of battle. Wounded soldiers must be quickly lifted and transported to safety, requiring the special skill of the medevac to perform tricky desert landings and air maneuvers while the wounded are hoisted aboard. She is dressed in a jumpsuit, SRU-21/P survival vest, helmet with communications link, satcom link and dog tags, and is armed with a 9 MM Beretta.
